Model Perception

Looking into alot of fashion magazines and fashion advertisements, I always wondered whether the models themselves had a chance to put a little of their own personality into their work or whether they were just told how to look, how to dress and how to walk.

With this in mind I decided to look into self perception and how people who model would like to be seen or how they ARE seen.

I gave each of my models a t shirt (or not in one case) in which they would place a word or phrase onto it which they thought best described themselves or how they want to be seen. I also wanted to capture the word or phrase in the way the photo was shot.

This will hopefully become a major project involving possibly lots more different models taking place over the course of this year.
